Contact form details. If you get in touch through our Contact page, we collect the name and email address you provide, along with your message, so we can reply to you.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and app – for example, which pages are viewed and how long people stay. Google Analytics collects data such as device type, approximate location, and browsing behaviour. This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Cookies. Our website uses cookies, small files stored on your device, mainly to support Google Analytics. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
The Celiac Travel App
The Celiac Travel app is a free gift for those who donate to the website. We strongly recommend that you take the printed paper cards with you on your travels, as they ensure the gluten free message reaches the kitchen intact (no-one is really happy handing over their phone!) The app is there as a backup in case you need it.
The Celiac Travel app is designed to collect as little information as possible.
What we collect. Nothing is sent anywhere. The app has no account system, no login, and no analytics or tracking. The only data the app stores is your list of pinned languages, and that is kept on your device only. Deleting the app removes it.
Internet access. The restaurant cards are included in the app and open without an internet connection. The app only uses the internet if you tap a link that opens your browser, for example the Celiac Travel website, the contact form, or the PayPal donation page. Those pages have their own privacy policies.
Payments. The app never asks for or handles payment. Donations happen entirely on the Celiac Travel website through PayPal.
How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide Google Analytics, which acts as a data processor for that purpose.
Data Retention
We keep contact form messages only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and analytics data for the period set by Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.

If you would like to see, correct, or ask us to delete any personal information we hold about you, please contact us and we will deal with your request.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
