4 Wonderful Gluten Free Eateries in Paris

Published 12 October, 2014

Although you may think of Paris as a city overflowing with pastries, baguettes and croissants, the days of struggling to find gluten-free fare are slowly becoming a thing of the past.

Offering everything from delicious breakfast to gourmet haute cusine, gluten-free eateries are popping up all over the City of Light, giving caeliacs and gluten-free lovers alike their pick of the finest food around.

Here are a few of my favourites.

Helmut Newcake - the bakery

This cosy yet modern patisserie is located right in the heart of super-trendy Canal St Martin meaning that you can enjoy a guilt-free delicacy whilst indulging in some top-rate people watching.

Right in the heart of the hip neighbourhood of northern Marais, Café Pinson is a casual-cool Californian inspired hangout. This bright and open space is decked out with wicker chairs, fresh white panelled walls and an easy-going atmosphere - and we haven't even gotten to the food yet!

Offering a menu of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, everything at Café Pinson is about good health and vitality - from the almond milk to the agave sugar. Here is the ideal place to while away an afternoon in the easy company of friends.
